Linking School to Home
Please check your child's folder everyday and remove and review the contents. Keep the "left at home" side information home and review and send back the "right back to school" side.
Take-home books
Your child will be bringing home 10 books in a bag to read throughout the week. These books should be "just right" for your child, allowing them to be able to read them to you. Please take the time to listen to them read at least 2 books every night. If they are stumbling on a word(s) you can help them by having them sound out the sounds, look at the picture(s) for clues, skip then reread.
Take the time to ask your child a few questions everyday.
Share a book with your child every night!
Word list
I plan to send a list of words home once aweek
